It’s official:
Patricia Terry, RDR, CRR
Patty Terry of Eagle, Idaho, passed her Registered Diplomat Reporter examination in October and just received her official certificate! Congratulations!![]()
“I am very proud of passing the RDR. It took me many tries (as did all of the tests I took!). But what it means by passing that test is I have a broad knowledge of all areas. This makes me a well-rounded court reporter, which is the way I’ve always felt a great reporter should be. I was at the point of giving up taking the test; just didn’t think I’d ever pass. But I gave it one more try and passed it. I am very excited to be a Registered Diplomate Reporter now, one of only a select few!” – Patty Terry
“The RDR is the highest level of certification available to court reporters. You’ll also earn .25 PDCs. This certification program was developed to allow high-level, seasoned reporters to distinguish themselves as members of the profession’s elite.
“In its comprehensive analysis of the profession, Hay Management Consultants refers to the RDR as the epitome of excellence among court reporters. As of this writing, NCRA boasts over 350 RDRs.”
